And by the way, what you see in the video above is NOT how it is by now. Our team of top professional animators testing our current alpha versions agrees with me on this. I personally think our line is absolute awesome, responsive yet smooth in the way you would want it. I guess you will just have to try it to see if it lives up to expectations. Especially if you have algorithms to de-noise (stabilise) the input stream of realtime drawing data. Pen lag: Of course you will always have a little bit of delay caused by both hardware and software. But isn’t it supposed to just work with any desktop software? I haven’t had time to look into Duet Pro yet. We will be able to reuse most of the code, so finishing that should be fairly quick. We are planning to do a version for iPad Pro with Pencil (as well as Android) immediately after the final release of the desktop version. So, it will still be some months before you can try it. I try not to set any solid dates (I’m not denying probably mentioning end of the year, but) – since it is very hard to estimate this kind of development and you never know what happens in the process as stuff gets tested and ideas come up. When we get closer, only some months from now, we will let everybody know how to get your eager hands on it. All features must be done by then, but unfound bugs will still remain. Sorry, only a few, already selected, people get their hands on this internal test version.Īfter a series of alpha versions, we will finally get to beta stage. Still missing features, yet to be implemented. That means, we have an unfinished version ready for actual internal production usage. These days we are reaching our first alpha milestone.
